The West Alabama State Fair is proud to bring a new event to the fair this year.  On November 1-2, 2019 we'll hold the first West Alabama State Fair Barbeque Cookoff (Backyard) at Sokol Park.  Teams will compete in two categories for cash prizes (chicken and ribs).

Cash prizes totaling $3,000 will be awarded to Grand Champion, Reserve Champion and First - Fifth place in chicken and ribs.

Entry Fee per team:  $200

Space size 20 X 30 (no electricity, but quiet generators are permitted)
